A BRIEF THOUGHT
In its very Second Edition, WISSEN evolved into the biggest workshop for Undergraduate students in Eastern India, being attended by over thousand delegates from all across the country. Along with the hands-on workshops on basic surgical skills, basic life support, obstetrics and gynecology, pulmonary medicine, orthopedics and research methodology; we also gave emphasis on academic events like inter college Mediquiz, case presentation, paper presentation, poster presentation and research idea presentation.
To satisfy the curiosity and interests of Young Minds, we also organised an exhibition of specimens from pathology, microbiology and forensic medicine and toxicology; which was attended by over two hundred students from various schools of the city.
INTERESTING FACT
The task was to conduct it better and bigger than the previous one. So the core team started preparations 2 months ahead and consisted of student workforce of 100+.
